APC Overview and What It Covers
The APC for IJCP is $1200 USD per accepted article. The fee is assessed only after editorial acceptance and never at initial submission, so authors receive a fair and unbiased review process.
APCs fund editorial coordination, peer review management, plagiarism screening, professional copyediting, XML, PDF, and HTML production, and permanent hosting. Fees also support DOI registration and distribution to discovery services that improve citation tracking and clinical reach.
This model accelerates access to chemotherapy research, enabling oncologists, pharmacists, and policy leaders to translate evidence into practice without delay.
APCs also support ongoing platform maintenance, metadata quality checks, and post publication updates that improve long term visibility across scholarly systems and library platforms.
Payment instructions are provided after acceptance with a secure invoice and clear documentation for institutional reimbursement or grant reporting.
For grant funded studies, APC documentation can be provided to support compliance reporting and open access mandates required by funders and institutions.
If your institution requires a pro forma invoice or waiver documentation, the editorial office can provide it promptly to avoid delays.
Why IJCP Charges an APC
Open access publishing removes reader paywalls and expands the impact of chemotherapy research. APCs cover the costs of editorial quality control, production workflows, archiving, and metadata distribution needed to keep research accessible and citable.
APC Transparency
All fees are disclosed in advance. There are no submission fees, and the APC is invoiced only upon acceptance after peer review.
Waivers and Discounts
Editors and reviewers may receive service based discounts, and authors from low income countries can request partial waivers subject to eligibility and documentation.
Payment Process
Invoices are issued after acceptance with clear instructions for institutional payment, grant accounting, or personal payment methods.
Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal charges equal 30 percent of the APC if a manuscript is withdrawn after three days of submission. Authors should confirm readiness before submission to avoid delays and ethical conflicts.
