Martin Svoboda Dr.

Martin Svoboda works in the Ruminant and Swine Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Veterinary Sciences Brno. His research addresses non-infectious disease and trace-element metabolism in production animals: multi-year monitoring of cadmium and mercury residues in pig, cattle, sheep and goat tissues; iron-deficiency prevention in piglets; ochratoxin A in slaughtered pigs; selenium supplementation and meat quality in finishing pigs; and sedation and welfare in weaned piglets. He publishes in Veterinární medicína and Acta Veterinaria Brno.
